Kitchen Sink

Small Installations & Maintenance Work charges.

For small installations normally taking less than one day to complete and general maintenance work we charge a flat rate of £34.00 + VAT per hour, charged in 15 minute blocks. We also charge for one way travel. There is a minimum labour charge on all jobs of £47.50 + VAT to cover our operating costs.

Gas & LPG Appliance Servicing

  • Boiler £90.00 + VAT
  • Fire £80.00 + VAT
  • Fire with Back Boiler £ 150.00 + VAT
  • Hob £50.00 + VAT
  • Cooker £50.00 + VAT
  • Range Cooker (Single Burner) £88.00 + VAT
  • Range Cooker (Twin Burner) £ 145.00 + VAT

This includes a full strip down, cleaning and lubricating of parts as required, reassembly and testing. Advice on condition will be given on site where appropriate and a printed service report will be issued with your invoice. If consumable items such as gaskets, diaphragms etc. are required these will be fitted as part of the service but will incur an additional charge. It is expected that your appliance will be in working order upon our attendance. If this is not the case and repairs are necessary, then our hourly rate of £34.00 + VAT will apply.

Landlords’ Gas Safety Certificates (LGSCs)

LGSCs are charged at £26.50 + VAT per dwelling, as an additional cost to appliance servicing. We do not issue stand-alone LGSCs as all gas appliances must be serviced on an annual basis to comply with gas safe regulations.

Oil Servicing

  • Boiler £ 98.00 + VAT
  • Rayburn/Aga (Vapourising Burner) £ 95.00 + VAT
  • Range Cooker (Single Burner) £ 98.00 + VAT
  • Range Cooker (Twin Burner) £ 160.00 + VAT

Appliance breakdown repairs

If your Gas, LPG or Oil-fired appliance has broken down, at first we will attempt to repair it as long as we feel it is financially efficient to do so. The charge for this is our standard rate of £34.00 + VAT per hour, plus the cost of any parts that may be required. We also charge for one way travel. All prices are subject to change – please contact us for a firm quotation.
